Systems Analysts evaluate processes and methods used in existing ICT systems, propose modifications and additional system components or new systems to meet user needs, as expressed in specifications and other documentation.
You usually need a bachelor or postgraduate degree in a relevant information technology field to work as a Systems Analyst. Training may also be available through Vocational Education and Training (VET). There are also a wide range of vendor and industry certifications available that may substitute for formal qualifications and can be highly regarded by employers.
