    Day-to-day

    • plans and organises the range and mix of fitness programmes to be offered by the centre
    • organises publicity to promote facilities and attract clients
    • selects, trains and supervises staff
    • ensures facilities are properly maintained and conform to safety standards
    • may undertake coaching, fitness instruction and training of clients.

    To become a Fitness Centre Manager

    • You usually need management experience or extensive industry experience to work as a Fitness Centre Manager. While formal qualifications aren't essential, a Vocational Education and Training (VET) or university course in business, management or fitness may be useful.
